Health Care Reform

This is a topic on the minds of many Americans and a prime objective of President’s Obama’s administration. It encompasses several very large and complicated legislations of 2010 and more to come.

Two Federal Statuses Enacted in 2010:

  • The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA)

    • Signed March 23, 2010

  • The Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (H.R. 4872)

    • Amended the PPACA and became law on March 30.

Several things are clear:

  • They are in effect a set of new taxes on Americans and  on American business .

  • They affect many, many parts of our lives, not just our health, and they now affect all of us.

Below are some resources I can point you to for the sake of getting you started. I DO NOT ENDORSE ANY OF THESE SITES for now. In the near future, I will add or amend these links as time allows me to look them over more intently.
